A Nanny for U’s Backup Care program offers a creative and innovative solution for professionals who may be facing an unplanned event or schedule change that conflicts with work. It is our goal to provide backup childcare benefits to corporate employees to alleviate some of the stress of being a working parent and in turn allow you to be work-focused and worry-free on the job. With our 24-hour a day service, childcare is only a phone call away when you might not otherwise have a childcare option to fall back on.

Utilizing our Backup Care service directly improves your company’s bottom line. With our service, you have a “last minute” resource for your childcare needs. Let A Nanny for U take the worry out of finding last minute care, so that you don’t have to.

Our Process

First, we meet with your employer to tailor a service proposal that best meets the needs of your company and its employees. Once your company is enrolled in our Backup Care service, employees can reach one of our Client Service Representatives 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When their care request is submitted, we will then provide in-home care by one of our qualified backup caregivers. To ensure your peace of mind, we perform the following background checks on all candidates:


	Comprehensive assessment of driving records for the past 5 years Thorough criminal check in every state in which the candidate has lived At least 3 detailed child care reference checks

In addition to completing in-depth application interviews, we require that all candidates meet the following criteria:

3 professional child care references from non-relatives
At least 2 years experience in child care setting
Must have own car with full coverage auto insurance
Proof of legal US citizenship

Must successfully complete required CPR class
Must be a non-smoker
Must be over 18 years old
High school graduate



	A fee structure for our Backup Care service will be designed to meet your company’s needs. We offer multiple package options based on the number of childcare hours your company would like to provide to each employee.
