A Nanny for U was born in 1994, when full-time Nanny Rebecca Vidmore saw a need for higher quality childcare resources in Seattle and the surrounding areas. Being a perfectionist and providing the best care for her employer's children, she had a unique understanding of the characteristics that make a truly great Nanny. Surrounding herself with childcare professionals that shared her high standards, A Nanny for U grew quickly and eventually came to offer the expanded services you'll find on this web site. Rebecca is now a mother of 2 young girls and personally employs a Nanny and additional household staff. She truly understands the needs of the people she serves.

Today, you'll find a strong team of energetic, passionate individuals who love children and are the very best at helping our clients find the resources they need. Our hand-picked employees all have extensive experience as Nannies, teachers or in related childcare fields, as well as an intimate knowledge of this changing and competitive marketplace.
