Laid off teachers, coaches, and daycare providers, listen up, "A Nanny for U" needs you.
Rebecca Vidmore is hiring sitters, nannies, personal assistants, home managers, and housekeepers.
"If they have done some child care but have been a manager or been in a position of managing kids or managing a home, those people are considered candidates, absolutely," said Vidmore.
She added, "If you have management skills or have worked at WAMU and you've been an executive assistant but you've also raised a family," you might be a great candidate to help a family run their home.
Vidmore says there's a great need for qualified child care providers to be sitters. "Our temporary business, which is a client that needs on-call help from time to time, whether it be a Saturday night or a day when their kids are sick and they need to stay home from school, is up 75-percent."
Vidmore is holding informational meetings for those who want to find out more. The first is Thursday, May 28th at the Juanita Starbucks (9721 NE 119th Way in Kirkland) at 6pm. The second is Wednesday, June 3rd at the Edmonds Starbucks (21920 Highway 99) at 6pm.
